The Sound of Silence: news

Last night I found out via Irma Gold that the anthology she edited, and which I contributed to, had won an award.

The anthology, The Sound of Silence, is about miscarriage and features the essays of 22 writers. It's intensely personal and far from easy reading, but given that so many people experience the pain and grief of miscarriage it's surprising that there aren't more books like this.

  1. Hi Sally. I haven't yet read your piece, but congratulations on targeting a need woefully neglected. I imagine it took guts.
